Bible StoryBoards can help you see how the Old Testament and New Testament fit together into one grand story of God and man. With 15 pictures and the storyline that goes with them, we will take you on a journey through the simple story of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.
Part One
As the story begins you will see the focus of the Old Testament:
- God creates the world and mankind so we can walk together in a loving relationship.
- Man turns away from God and goes his own way.
- God sets in motion a plan – through a chosen family – to make it possible for everyone to come back into a relationship with Him in spite of our sin.
Part Two
The New Testament continues the story:
- Jesus is the promised solution to our sin problem, as He makes it possible for us to have life with God forever.
- His followers tell the world about what God has done for us through Jesus. Forgiveness is now available to all who believe and accept God’s gift of life. This part of the Bible (StoryBoard 14) is where we fit into the story, as it continues today.
- God tells what is ahead for all of us one day in the future.
The Old and New Testaments are simply two parts of the same story. It’s the amazing story of God’s relentless pursuit of a relationship with us.
