There is a Purpose When We Find Ourselves Waiting on God | According to the Story of the Bible

Even when we are trying to follow God’s leading in our lives, there are times when we find ourselves waiting for His instructions – when we’re not sure what’s next. The story of the Bible can help you see that God is still working even when He seems silent. Bible StoryBoards can help you understand that story and that it’s worth waiting for God.

A Time to Wait
A Time to Wait

Our 15 StoryBoards and will take you through the bottom line story of the Bible. As it unfolds, you will clearly see that God is always at work in and around our lives, even when we can’t see it. In those times, the best thing we can do is wait.

StoryBoard 11 talks about the 400 years between the end of the Old Testament and the beginning of the New Testament. It was a time of silence from heaven. God wasn’t speaking through burning bushes or prophets. He wasn’t leading with a cloud or a pillar of fire.

He is Always at Work

But during those years God was still at work preparing the world for what was to come. It was the time of Alexander the Great and the Roman Empire. Those major eras in history paved the way, literally, for the next phase in God’s plan for this world and mankind.

It’s our hope that Bible StoryBoards will help you understand the amazing story of God and man that the Bible tells. And that you will see there is always a purpose when God is asking you to wait.
