The story of God and man that is woven through the entire Bible makes it clear that the world we live in today is very different than it was intended to be. Bible StoryBoards was written to help you understand that story and what is ahead for this world and mankind.
The Bible begins by telling us that God created a perfect world for us to live in with Him (StoryBoard 1). His desire was for us to walk in loving relationships with each other and with Him in that world.
But mankind turned away from God (StoryBoard 2). As sin entered the world and spread throughout mankind, everything changed – not only in our relationships with God and each other, but also in the world itself.
God then set in motion a plan to make it possible for us to walk with Him again in spite of our sin. He fulfilled that promise and plan in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
What It Once Was, It Will Be Again
Because of Jesus, a day is coming when God will put an end to this world as we know it and create a new perfect world for all those who have chosen to follow Him (StoryBoard 15).
But for now… we wait in this fallen world. And creation itself longs for the day when everything will be good and perfect once again.
