Sometimes the Best Thing We Can Do is Wait to See God’s Plan

When we’re unsure what’s going on in or around our lives, the Bible shows that it’s often best to just wait for God to show up. If you follow the simple story of the Bible that is told in Bible StoryBoards, you will see that God is always at work, even when we can’t see it.

Not Sure What to Do
Not Sure What to Do

The big picture of the Bible shows that God has a plan for this world and for us. Yet most of the time mankind has gone about their lives without knowing what that plan was or how it was unfolding around them.

StoryBoard 11 is called Waiting. It’s about the 400 years that took place between the end of the Old Testament and the beginning of the New Testament. Throughout those years those who were seeking God simply waited. He wasn’t speaking or sending messengers into the world, but He was still working to prepare the world for what was to come next. And while they waited, God wanted them to love Him and love each other.

If you are at a time in your life when you are wondering what to do or what is next for you, the story of the Bible can help you learn to trust and wait. Because as the story unfolds, we see over and over that God is there and working, even when we don’t see Him. He is faithful. He is trustworthy. He has a plan. Sometimes you just need to trust Him… and wait.
