The Bible clearly shows us why bad things happen in this world. As you journey through that storyline with Bible StoryBoards, you will come to understand that the last thing God wants is for bad things to happen.
God created this world so He could have a relationship with us. He wanted us to love Him and each other in a perfect world. That was the plan.
But the story goes on to show that because God gives us the freedom to choose if we want to follow Him and His ways or not, we foolishly keep trying to do things our own way instead of God’s. And when we do that, things end badly. Over and over again throughout history, we messed up.
Because of our foolish choices, we live in a fallen, sin-filled world. And we are surrounded by the consequences of that sin. Life is hard. Bad things happen.
God, like a loving parent, can see beyond what we see. Sometimes He miraculously intervenes to rescue us, but often He simply helps us make it through the trouble and pain that come our way, knowing that on the other side there will be joy.
Our journey through the Bible also assures us that ultimately God will put an end to all the bad things that happen in this fallen world when He creates a new world for all those who choose to follow Him.
