Bible StoryBoards provides a fifteen-week curriculum that can take your home schooler on a journey through the bottom line story of the Bible. They will come away knowing how all the parts of the Bible fit together into one grand story of God and man.
We’ve divided the Bible – from Genesis to Revelation – into fifteen historical eras that are represented by 15 StoryBoards. Along with the simple storyline for each era, we’ve provided charts, activities, pictures, flashcards, and discussion questions to help your students learn the following things for each StoryBoard:
- A title
- The storyline
- A one-sentence theme for what was happening
- A key Bible verse
- The leading characters
- The approximate number of years that era lasted
- The books of the Bible that correspond with that era
The fifteen lessons can be used in whatever time schedule works for you. But since we are just focusing on the bottom line story of the Bible, taking one StoryBoard a week would give you the time to help your children understand how the familiar Bible stories they already know fit in to the main storyline of the Bible. It would also provide a framework for you to add in other lessons that relate to the theme of each era.
